Apple cider vinegar gummies: what they are, how to take them, what to watch
Last updated 4 min readالعربية
Apple cider vinegar gummies are a chewable way to take apple cider vinegar without drinking it. Two Jolie Apple Cider Vinegar gummies give 500 mg of apple cider vinegar (5% acetic acid), with folate and vitamin B12, and 0 g sugar. The label says to take two a day, preferably with a meal. Here's what's inside, how to take them, and who should check with a doctor first.
What apple cider vinegar is
Apple cider vinegar is vinegar made from fermented apple juice. Its sharp, sour taste comes mainly from acetic acid, which is why our label gives the vinegar's strength, 5% acetic acid, next to the amount.
Some people take it as a spoonful in water. Others can't face the taste. A gummy gives you the vinegar in an apple-flavoured chew, without the shot.

The other ingredients are pectin, natural apple flavour, citric acid, sodium citrate, coconut oil and carnauba wax. The label lists it as free from gluten, dairy, soy, and artificial flavours, sweeteners and colours. Each jar holds 60 gummies, or 30 servings, and is made in the UK.
How to take them
- Take two gummies a day, preferably with a meal, or as your healthcare professional advises. That's the direction on the label.
- Stick to the two on the label.
- Chew each gummy fully and have some water. A published study described an injury to the oesophagus (the food pipe) linked to apple cider vinegar tablets, and found that tablet products varied widely in what they contained.
- Take them consistently, as the label suggests.
- Store the jar in a cool, dry place with the lid closed, out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children. In summer, don't leave it in the car.
Check the sugar on any gummy
Gummies started life as sweets, and many are still made with sugar or syrups, which help them set and taste sweet. A gummy supplement can quietly add sugar to your day, especially if one serving is several pieces.
On any label, read two lines per serving: Total Sugars and Added Sugars. On ours, both are 0 g, and sugar alcohol is 0 g too.
Who should be careful
If you get heartburn or reflux
The NHS advises avoiding food and drink that triggers your symptoms. Vinegar is acidic, so if apple cider vinegar in any form brings on heartburn, stop taking it and speak to a pharmacist. See a GP if you have heartburn most days.
If you take medication or have a medical condition
Speak to your doctor first. A published case report described low potassium in a patient who had been taking large amounts of cider vinegar. That was liquid vinegar in large amounts, not two gummies a day, but it's a good reminder to stay with the amount on the label and keep your doctor in the loop.
If you're pregnant or nursing
Check with your doctor before starting any supplement, this one included.
If you drink vinegar as well
Undiluted vinegar is acidic. A laboratory study on human tooth enamel found that several vinegars caused some loss of minerals from it. If you also drink apple cider vinegar, ask your dentist how to look after your teeth.
What we don't claim
You'll find plenty of big promises about apple cider vinegar online. We don't make them. Our label says what's in the jar and how to take it, and that's what this guide does too. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.
Price in the UAE
One jar costs AED 79, about AED 2.63 per serving of two gummies. Three jars are AED 211 and six are AED 370. UAE delivery is AED 25, and free on orders of AED 249 or more. The Reset bundle pairs it with Ashwagandha: Apple Cider Vinegar in the morning with a meal, Ashwagandha before bed.
